Green Adventure is proud to partner in the nationwide Reforest For Tomorrow 2025 Campaign organized by Slovenian State Forests (SiDG). This year, we’re shining the spotlight on the Otočec site in the Dolenjska region.

When?
Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 9:00 to 12:00 LOCATION

What’s Happening?
At Otočec, volunteers will plant tree seedlings as part of a nationwide initiative to restore and protect our forests. With over 5,600 seedlings being planted across five locations, the Otočec action is our chance to make a local, lasting impact.

What Do You Need?

  • Your enthusiasm and willingness to help!
  • Basic tools for planting (a shovel, hoe, or mattock), protective gloves, and suitable footwear.

Green Adventure at New Deal Europe 2025

The New Deal Europe Marketplace & Forum 2025 took place on March 25th at the Congress Centre in London, where over 80 tourism providers held more than 1,500 pre-scheduled B2B meetings aimed at boosting tourism in 12 Southeast European countries. Slovenia was represented by the Slovenian Tourist Board (STO) with #IfeelSlovenia and 16 tourism companies, including Green Adventure Travel Agency.

As creators of unique, sustainable experiences, we proudly represented our home region Dolenjska, presenting travel products rooted in nature, authenticity, and local impact.

Green Adventure has embraced a sustainable approach to tourism by joining the global Travelife certification network. This organization provides practical tools, resources, and guidelines for tourism businesses, operators, agencies, and accommodations to improve their social, economic, and environmental impact.

At Green Adventure, we have always prioritized sustainability when designing our tourism products. In 2023, we reinforced our commitment to responsible tourism by joining Travelife. Through the platform’s tools, we implemented numerous measures and documents to guide our activities. Our expert guides have been trained on these guidelines, and together, we’ve successfully integrated them into our practices, sharing them with our loyal guests.

The foundation of our sustainable operations includes documents such as our Sustainability Policy, Code of Ethics, Codes of Conduct for various experiences, Emergency Response Measures, Complaint Handling Procedures, and a Quality Scheme. These documents form the basis of our Action Plan, which we diligently apply in our daily operations.

As we undergo the re-certification process for Travelife in 2025, we reflect proudly on the progress made over the past two years. Our efforts have positively impacted not only our staff and guests but also the preservation of the natural environment. Additionally, by building strong relationships with local suppliers, we have significantly contributed to the local economy.
